How to write Objective of Resume

Resume Objective

Many of the job seekers believe that HR person seldom sees the objective of resumes. But, they are wrong; one can lose the job opportunity due to an objective, which does not match the desired job.  In fact, objective helps HR person to make an opinion about resume. Otherwise, HR receives thousands of resumes per day.
The objective is considered to be a precise summary of your skills, ability, and interests in the relevant field, which leads you towards a career goal.  Thus, it must include the position applied for, key skills in support of the position and goal.

Writing objective is very important for entry level engineers too. But, they should not use decorative language. Instead, a short and straight forward objective comprised of simple words focusing on the target position is more effective.

Student resume objective

Writing the objective statement in a resume is mandatory in case of a student, a fresh graduate or an entry level applicant. An experienced professional resume need not write the objective in his profile. A modern resume objective statement is a mixture of career goal and a brief summary of skills.
